Separatists in Tiraspol say they will freeze all dialogue with Chisinau "until Moldova denounces Georgian aggression against South Ossetia"

The leadership of Moldova’s breakaway region Transnistria announced on August 12 that they would freeze all negociations between the joint expert groups set up between Chisinau and Tiraspol, unless the Moldovan government condemned the “Georgian aggression” against South Ossetia.

On August 11, five days after the conflict broke out and after mature hesitation, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry had issued a statement on the situation in Georgia, saying that Chisinau alingned itself with the European Union on the Russo-Georgian conflict.
