Romanian Senate speaker Nicolae Vacaroiu announced on September 25 that Romania and Moldova had revived an interparliamentary commission for cooperation that stopped working in 2002 when bilateral relations chilled. Vacaroiu said both countries' parliamentary delegations had agreed to restore the commission which was first formed in 1992.
