The crisis within the Board of the National Council for Securitate Archive Investigation (CNSAS)was solved on April 3 by organizing a new election of the institution’s president. Claudiu Secasiu was elected president by eight to two votes during a secret ballot. His mandate will last 6 months as the Board introduced the principle of rotating presidency.
