UDMR Executive Deputy Chairman Laszlo Borbely said that his party would try to form a ruling coalition with the PSD. Earlier UDMR senator Gyorgy Frunda had said that the ethnic Hungarian party would no longer back the PSD in parliament without representation of its own in the government. Frunda also said that within the government his party would continue to demand autonomy for ethnic Hungarians.
