The „Reportaires sans frontiers” organization has sent a team to Romania to report on threats to the freedom of the press and the security situation of journalists. Several journalists investigating of late corruption cases with possible incriminating involvement of local authorities have been the target of physical attacks that have not been elucidated by the police.
