The new Justice Minister Cristian Diaconescu met in Strasbourg a series of European officials among whom Walter Schimmer, Secretary General of the European Coucil, Bruno Haller, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council, Luzius Wildhaber, President of the European Court for Human Rights and Alvaro Gil-Robles, Commisioner for Human Rights of the European Council.
During those meetings Diaconescu submitted for expertise draft laws regarding the organization of the judiciary, the status of the magistrates and the structure of the Supreme Magistrate Council.
