O bursă „Radio Europa Liberă” pentru ziariștii moldoveni multi-media

Radio „Europa Liberă” oferă o nouă bursă pentru perfecționarea tinerilor jurnaliști, interesați să-și extindă experiența multi-media.

Scopul bursei de opt luni este de a oferi candidaților șansa de a lucra și de a se perfecționa sub îndrumarea atentă a jurnaliștilor din biroul de la Chișinău al Europei Libere.

Stagiul include și o vizită de studiu de o săptămâna la sediul central al RFE/RL de la Praga.

Bursa este oferită jurnaliștilor din țările Parteneriatului Estic.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is pleased to accept applications for the 2014-2015 RFE/RL Regional Reporting Fellowship.

The purpose of the Fellowship is to help aspiring journalists pursue their profession in support of pluralism.

Local journalists from Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine are eligible to apply.

Moldova

One Fellow will be selected and integrated into RFE/RL’s Chisinau bureau to work on a full-time basis producing reports and multi-media products, while receiving supervision and mentoring from RFE/RL seasoned professionals. As a result of the program, the Fellow is expected to strengthen his/her journalistic skills, produce reporting in the public interest, gain heightened awareness of the role and functions of independent media, and contribute to the development of a free press in his/her country

The Fellowship is for an eight-month term, beginning on or around November 1, 2014 and will include a week-long visit to RFE/RL’s Prague headquarters for additional professional development.

The Fellow will receive a monthly stipend for the term of the program, workspace at RFE/RL’s Chisinau bureau, and paid travel and accommodations for the trip to Prague.

  1. Application

Completed applications are due to RFE/RL at hokuvovaj@rferl.org by Friday, October 10.

A complete application should include the following materials:

  1. Cover letter, to include the applicant’s reasons for applying to the program, journalistic interests or experiences that would qualify the applicant for the program, and the applicant’s professional goals following the Fellowship’s completion.
  2. CV, to include personal data, professional experience, educational background, and language proficiency. (English-language proficiency is not required.)
  3. Two work samples, produced within the last 12 months, to include publication information.

In addition, applicants may be contacted by RFE/RL for an interview in-person, by telephone, or by skype as part of the application process.
