President Băsescu say Romanians and South Koreans are both peoples devided into two states


During a visit to Seul on September 11, Romanian President Basecu signed a strategic partnership between Romania and South Corea. The treaty encompasses a wide rage of security and economic issues. In his speech on this occasion, President Basescu made an analogy between Romanians and South Koreans, saying both peoples were devided into two states. He added that Bucharest wished Koreans to reunite, as it wished that, once the Republic of Moldova acceded to the European Union, the Romanian people would finally live in the same entity.
