Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin met on June 22 his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow. It was the second meeting of the two head of states in the last fortnight, After the talks, Vladimir Putin said the problems linked to Russian imports of Moldovan agricultural products and wine had been solved. Putin added that other issues including the Transdniester conflict need to be further discussed. There were no comments in this respect from the Moldovan presidency.
