Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Ministry asked the Tiraspol authorities to have the Romanian schools in Transnistria reopened. Spokesman Markian Lubkivsky said in Kiev that if its demand were ignored Ukraine would restrict goods transports destined to Transnistria. He added that Ukraine's sanctions should be viewed in the context of international measures decided among others by the United States and European Union.
