Mihai Cimpoi, president of Moldova’s Writers’ Union, said that Nicolae Dabija’s opinions published in his articles entitled „The Russian Women“ represented the point of view of the whole union. In an interview with RFE, Cimpoi stressed that the Writers’ Union shared Dabija’s opinons on the Russification of the Moldovan society, a process that nobody could ignore.
Vitalie Ciobanu, writer and publicist, said on the other hand, that Dabija’s articles were immensely detrimental to the Writers’ Union.
