The Moldovan Parliament passed on Friday the law introducing a 15-percent duty for offshore imports. The 15-percent duty for offshore operations is to be enforced as of July 1. It will be paid in Moldovan lei, according to the official currency exchange rate. Transfers and calculations will rest with the State Fiscal Service and the Centre for the Struggle against Economic Crimes and Corruption.
