Jonathan Scheele, the European Commission resident in Bucharest, said that in order to become a full member of the enlarged European Union Romania needs a solid, professional and, especially, non-political public administration. Scheele added that the implemantation of the anti-corruption policy has had a limited impact because corruption prevention needs a solid public administration and an efficient judiciary system.
